Over the weekend I finally got around to send out everyone’s starting stats for the 2011 Fitness Challenge. In my follow up email, I encouraged everyone take their follow up measurements to help gauge your progress. I wanted to share with you my progress and how I am coming along. First the measurements:A couple of things that I wanted to point out are the following:

- I Gained Weight. For me this was a goal, because not only am I trying to burn fat but I also want to add some serious muscle mass.
- Lost 3 Inches On My Waist! This is huge for me, because I started off with a 39″ waist which was by far the biggest waist that I have ever had! I was every excited to see that my waist has come down, though I still have more work to do.
- No Real Change in Back or Legs. I would of though that my back would have grown but it hasn’t…I got to keep focusing in on this area.
- Gained in Arms. My arms are back in full swing and I am just about the strongest that I have ever been which is great! So, I was pleased to see that I have had some growth in this area.
All in all, I am pleased at how things have been coming along but I undoubtedly have my areas of focus moving forward. For my back in particular, to gain size I will be sure to increase the weight and focus on less reps (8-12 range).
