Kurt’s 60 Day Update

Transformation Underway…

Here is my 60 day update…I am doing pretty good! Been really focusing on the Fat Burning portion and have really seen my waist start to shrink which is great! Below is my starting pictures, 30 days in, and then 60 days.

 Below are the actual numbers for my Personal Transformation to date.  I have been working hard to maintain my intensity and weight training, but also have focused on eating “Clean”, which means little to no of the following:

  • Dairy:  Cheese, Milk, Yogurt
  • Red Meat: Steak, Burgers, Pork
  • Baked Goods: Bread, Tortillas
  • Alcohol: Beer, White Wine, Mixed Cocktails

So what have I been eating? Good question…see below:

  • Protein: Fish, Chicken (skinless, no fried)
  • Complex Carbs: Sweet Potatos, Brown Rice
  • Veggies: Broccoli, Spinach Salads, other leafy veggies.
In addition to eating the above, I use really no sauces except for a little salsa. I am also consuming the following amounts: 220 Grams of Protein, 175 Grams of Carbs, and 50 Grams of Fat. I try to get as close as possible to those numbers and I have even been measuring out my food with a scale. I have a coach, Larry Neri, who has been helping me figure out the diet and training since I am going to be participating in the Emerald Cup on April 21st with my dad. We decided we needed all the help we could get, and we are glad to have Larry on board to help us!
On another note, I have been 45 minutes to an hour of cardio in the morning before I start my work day. I exclusively use the Stair Machine and just started to ramp it up to level 9 on the Fat Burning mode. It’s pretty killer!
All in all, I am certainly making strides to where I want to be. It is REALLY hard to maintain the diet and cardio, but I am trying and am dedicated to really pushing it until the end.
